Alerts monitor your device metrics and notify you when values go above or below the thresholds you define.
How alerts work
- You define an alert rule with a metric, condition, and threshold.
- The platform continuously checks incoming readings against your rules.
- When a rule is triggered, a notification is sent via your configured channels.
- An event is logged in the Events section for every trigger.
Alerts only fire when new data arrives from the device. No data means no check.
