Exporting Data
Download a device's measurements as a file for your own reports.
You can download the readings behind any chart as a file, so you can keep records, build your own reports, or analyse the data in a spreadsheet.
Exporting measurements
- Open the Measurements page for the device and metric you want.
- Click the menu button above the chart (the dropdown next to the date range).
- Choose Export.
- In the dialog, select the time range you want to include.
- Click Export.
The file is generated and downloaded to your computer. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any tool that reads CSV files.
What's in the file
The export contains the measurements for the chosen device, metric, and time range — each row a reading with its timestamp and value. This is the same data drawn on the chart, in a form you can sort, filter, and chart yourself.
Exporting a long period (months of frequent readings) can produce a large file. If you only need a summary, pick a shorter range or a metric that reports less often.
Exports are a point-in-time snapshot. They won't update automatically — re-export whenever you need fresh data.
