Device Details
Everything shown on a device's detail panel.
Clicking a device — whether in the device list, on the Map, or in the Overview — opens its detail panel. It slides in from the side so you don't lose your place.
What the panel shows
- Name & status — the device's friendly name and its current status (online, offline, or alerting).
- Last seen — the time of the most recent communication from the device. If this is far in the past, the device may be offline.
- Zone — the zone the device belongs to, if it has been assigned one.
- Metrics — the list of things this device measures (for example Temperature, Humidity, Battery). Each metric shows its most recent value.
Viewing a metric's history
Each metric in the list is a link. Click a metric to open its full Measurements page — an interactive chart of every reading over time, plus a 7-day forecast.
"Last seen" uses the time the platform received the data, not the time printed inside the device's message. This avoids a delayed batch of readings making a healthy device look like it just woke up.
Device configuration — its code, which decoder interprets its data, and its expected reporting frequency — is managed by your administrator. The detail panel is read-only for everyday users.
