The Map
See all your devices on a geographic map, colour-coded by status.
The Map plots your devices on a real geographic map so you can see where everything is and how it's doing — all in one view. Open it by clicking Map in the sidebar.
Reading the map
- Each device with a known location appears as a coloured dot (marker).
- The colour matches the device's status: green for online, grey for offline, red for alerting.
- Zones are drawn as outlined areas beneath the markers, so you can see which area each device sits in.
Click any marker to open that device's detail panel without leaving the map.
Filtering by status
Use the status chips (Online / Offline / Alerting) to focus the map. For example, tap Alerting to hide everything that's healthy and immediately see only the devices that need attention.
Devices not on the map
Some devices may not have a location set, so they can't be drawn as a marker. These appear in a separate unplaced devices list alongside the map, still showing their name, status, and zone — so they're never hidden from you.
Placing devices on the map
A device shows up as a marker once it has a location (a latitude/longitude point). Locations, like zones, are configured by your administrator.
The map is great as a wall display. Filter to Alerting, leave it open on a screen, and you've got a live status board for your whole site.
If the map looks empty, your devices probably don't have locations set yet. Check the unplaced devices list, or ask your administrator to add locations.
