Finding Your Way Around
A tour of the sidebar, search, and switching between organisations.
rabbit | iot keeps everything one click away from the sidebar on the left. This page explains what each part does.
The sidebar

| Devices | The full list of devices and their current status |
| Alerts | Rules that notify you when readings cross a limit |
| Events | A timeline of everything that has happened |
You may not see every item. What appears depends on your role in the organisation. For example, only Owners and Administrators can create alerts. See Members & Roles.
The account menu
Your avatar in the top-right corner opens the account menu, where you can reach:
- Profile — your name, email, and password
- Notifications — your notification centre and push settings
- Organisation settings — name and members (if your role allows)
- Sign out
Switching between organisations
A single account can belong to more than one organisation (for example, if you manage devices for several sites or clients).
- Open the account menu in the top-right corner.
- Choose the organisation you want from the list.
The whole app — devices, dashboards, alerts, everything — instantly switches to show only that organisation's data. You're always looking at exactly one organisation at a time.
Searching
Most lists (devices, alerts, events) have a search box at the top. Start typing a name and the list filters as you type.
Lists load more rows automatically as you scroll — there are no page numbers to click. Just keep scrolling to see older items.
